Health First Health Plans Applies AMISYS Advance Claims Administration and Care Management Solutions to Enhance Member Services, Improve Care

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 10, 2010—DST Health Solutions, LLC today announced the successful implementation of its industry-leading AMISYS Advance™ claims administration platform, outsourcing services and other software applications at Health First Health Plans, of Rockledge, Fla. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Health First Health Plans provides health insurance to residents of central Florida, and has attained “excellent” accreditation status from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its commercial and Medicare plans. DST Health Solutions is providing core claims administration processing services on its premier platform, AMISYS Advance, which is designed to help health plans decrease claims turnaround time and improve claims accuracy. AMISYS Advance helps health plans such as Health First Health Plans achieve higher auto-adjudication rates by simplifying administrative processes. Additionally, Health First Health Plans is utilizing DST Health Solutions to manage and support the integration of medical care management, Medicare Advantage and Web portal applications and business processes.
