Independent Care Health Plan Leverages ASI’s Powerful Infrastructure Through Outsourcing Engagement

ROCKVILLE, Md. (June 6, 2006) – Independent Care Health Plan (iCare), a Medicaid HMO in Wisconsin, has selected ASI to provide comprehensive business process outsourcing (BPO) services, including front-end mailroom and data capture and validation services.

Under the terms of the five-year agreement, ASI will provide a complete range of business and technology services supported through its powerful and established infrastructure, including front-end imaging and EDI, claims processing, database management and output services.

ASI will utilize its flagship information management application, the enterprise-wide and functionally rich AMISYS Advance system, as the foundation for providing iCare with a complete BPO solution. AMISYS Advance delivers high claims first pass rates and provides health plans with the proven architecture required to successfully manage complex processing requirements. 

Currently supporting two million lives through its BPO operations, ASI enables iCare to leverage its flexible outsourcing infrastructure, including state-of-the-art mailroom equipment and advanced business process automation capabilities, to enhance operational efficiencies and increase cost-savings.
