Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan Selects ASI as Application Services Provider
ASI will host AMISYS application for Wisconsin Health Plan

ROCKVILLE, Md. (July 26, 2006) – Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan, a Wisconsin-based healthcare network that includes one of the nation's largest multi-specialty group medical practices, has selected ASI to provide technology outsourcing services and hosting of the AMISYS healthcare information management application.

ASI, the market leader of in-depth software products and innovative business process outsourcing services for healthcare payers, will host the AMISYS application at its state-of-the-art data center in Harrisburg, PA via an application services provider (ASP) engagement.
Gundersen Lutheran will run their Medicare, commercial and self-funded lines of business with a projected membership of more than 52,000 lives through the ASP arrangement.  The health plan is a long-time user of the AMISYS product.

“We chose ASI based on several factors including ASI’s ability to support our current AMISYS product,” said Angela Kissinger, Chief of Operations, Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan. “Of equal importance, ASI also meets our high standards as a quality, stable company with an excellent reputation for service.”

ASI’s flagship payer application, AMISYS is an enterprise-wide and functionally rich healthcare information management application that automates essential business functions and manages sophisticated processing requirements while delivering high claims first pass rates.

“ASI is pleased to extend its relationship with Gundersen Lutheran by providing expert staffing support and a powerful technology infrastructure deployed within our proven ASP model,” said Phil Spinelli, ASI’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Gundersen Lutheran will retain the same rich functionality proved by the AMISYS application while realizing even greater cost-efficiencies through an application hosting engagement.”
