(January 24, 2006) –ASI, the nation’s leading consumer-directed healthcare (CDH) solution provider, was recently selected to participate on The HSA Council after being identified as one of the leading technology organizations addressing the needs of banks and health plans entering the CDH and HSA markets.
Jointly formed by the American Bankers Association and the American Bankers Insurance Association, The HSA Council is an organization of banks, insurers and technology leaders committed to increasing the distribution of health savings accounts (HSAs) through banks. The primary objectives of The HSA Council are to:

• Provide a forum for a peer exchange of ideas
• Facilitate meetings with top policy makers to discuss issues and shape policy
• Focus attention on ways that ABA/ABIA can help banks address these issues
