MDr PracticeManager is a comprehensive information system that helps you manage and control all aspects of your healthcare practice, from appointment scheduling and medical billing to electronic claims submission, electronic remittance, insurance follow-up and payment processing. MDr PracticeManager works for groups of any size and specialty, including physician networks, hospital-based physicians, hospital emergency departments and management services organizations (MSOs).

The MDr PracticeManager application is hosted in one of DST Health Solutions' network data centers. Your medical offices access our system using high-speed communication lines connected to our secure, virtual private network. This application services provider (ASP) model of access gives you state-of-the-art technology - without the risk and large capital expense traditionally associated with licensing expensive physician practice management software and running it in-house.

In addition, a network-based approach allows for efficient marketplace connectivity with other practices, hospitals, labs and payors - connectivity that is practically impossible or cost prohibitive with traditional turnkey software products. Furthermore, our solutions are Internet-enabled, allowing your practice to "plug in" to all the benefits of the Internet. For example, your monthly reports can be viewed in real-time directly from the Internet and you can communicate with your system from anywhere.

DST Health Solutions files your claims electronically from our network data center to more than 300 insurance carriers, Medicare and Medicaid. Explanation of benefits or payments information appears on-screen for the medical office staff to review, adjust and post with a single keystroke. A claim screening system, using edits and error checking techniques, helps assure that your claim has the correct information before it is transmitted for payment-saving valuable time by reducing re-work.

Online access to selected payors and hospitals gives you the ability to obtain information regarding claim status, patient eligibility, benefit plan, referring physician, precertification and other data, which further reduces errors that delay payments. DST Health Solutions can also develop connectivity to allow you to download selected hospital data. We have added a master patient index that enables any physician to securely share information with any other physician on the network. The master patient index also facilitates integration with hospital systems.
